About the Winston-Salem Jaycees

Developing future leaders through community service

OUR MISSION: To recruit and train leaders by providing fun, innovative opportunities for individuals to serve humanity.

OUR VISION: To be the organization of choice for young people, providing direction and leadership to our communities and nation.

Have you …

met all the people you have ever wanted to meet?
done all of the networking you will ever need?
impacted your local community?
done all that you wanted to do?

We have a place for you in the Winston-Salem Jaycees! For more than 80 years, we’ve been the Winston-Salem area’s organization of choice for men and women 21-40 years of age who want the best opportunity to develop personal, business and leadership skills through community service and organizational involvement.

We support the community both monetarily and through hands-on involvement. We take an active role in supporting the youth, elderly, and needy by offering manpower to other local organizations. Additionally, we raise money to support the North Carolina Jaycees Priority Projects.

In addition to community support, we pride ourselves in providing a multitude of opportunities for members to develop personal skills through seminars and projects.

We also offer associate memberships to those over age 40.  Associate members serve in a mentor/alumni role – they enjoy all of the benefits of being a member outside of voting at meetings, serving on the board or chairing/organizing projects.

Let the membership team ([email protected]) know if you have any questions!

We believe …

… That faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life;

… That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations;

… That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise;

… That government should be of laws rather than of men;

… That earth’s great treasure lies in human personality;

… And that service to humanity is the best work of life.
