2015 NC Year End Convention (Jan 29 – Jan 31, 2016)

Congratulations to everyone and thank you to every single member for huge contributions to our success!  Together we’re making a big impact in our community.

Our chapter placed 1st place in Parade of Excellence for 2nd Semester and 2nd place for Year End.  This means we are working hard and succeeding in providing well rounded programming for our chapter!  For those who missed the convention, here’s how we did!

State Awards

• 2nd Semester: 1st place in Parade of Chapters – Winston-Salem Jaycees
• Year End: 2nd place in Parade of Chapters – Winston-Salem Jaycees

Individual Awards

• 2nd Semester: All Star Local Director – Yvette Spears
• JCI Senatorship – Mitzi Mclean & Katie Taylor
• Passport to leadership (2nd degree) – Kayla Newman

• Year End:  Inter-Organization Collaboration Project – 1st Place: Chili Cook-off for Lake Waccamaw Boys and Girls Homes – Winston-Salem Jaycees
• Year End:  Long-Term Community Development Program – 1st Place: 2014 Christmas Cheer – Winston-Salem Jaycees

2015 Local Year End Award Banquet (Mar 16, 2016)

At our Local Year End Awards Banquet we presented our awards received at the NC Year End convention to our membership.  We also awarded some local chapter awards.
