Sibshops© Sibling Support Project
Sibshops is a unique opportunity for brothers and sisters of children with special health and developmental needs to obtain peer support and education within a recreational context. Sibshops are lively, pedal-to-the-metal celebrations of the many contributions made by brothers and sisters of kids with special needs.
Sibshops provides brothers and sisters of children with special needs an opportunity to:
*Meet other siblings in a relaxed, recreational setting
*Discuss common joys and concerns with other siblings of children with special needs
*Learn how others handle situations commonly experienced by siblings of children with special needs
*Learn more about the implication of their brothers’ and sisters’ special needs
*Have FUN, FUN, FUN!!!
Sibshops are offered six times a year for children ages 4-14.
