W-S Jaycees Volunteer with HOPE

November 9 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am

On Saturday, November 9th the Winston-Salem Jaycees will volunteer with H.O.P.E. to help feed children and families in the area.

Every Saturday morning, H.O.P.E. assembles hundreds of meals for children and pack hundreds of bags of fresh produce for their families. This is a great opportunity for individuals, families and groups.

Details include:

Activities take place between 9:30am – 11:30am
Volunteers will be met by our Operations Manager, Bob, and receive all instructions for the morning
Volunteers will pack produce items into bags and stage them on racks for distribution on Sunday
Volunteers will then assemble nutritious meals and stage in coolers for distribution on Sunday
Light clean up is done once all food is prepped for distribution
H.O.P.E. is located at 355 NW Crawford Place, WSNC 27105. This is in Kimberley Park, located in the Boston-Thurmond neighborhood. We are about a quarter of a mile east of Kimberley Park Elementary School, on the north side of the street. Easiest access off University Parkway is at 25th street.

H.O.P.E. welcome families with children for this activity! All ages welcome!! No pets please.
