December Meeting: Holiday Cards for the Elderly

Dec 18, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

You made it to the end of the year! Celebrate with other local young professionals at the Winston-Salem Jaycees’ December meeting. Because our normal meeting day falls on Christmas, we’re combining with our monthly Monday Mugs social and meeting up at Foothills Brewing downtown.

For our December activity, we will have materials to make Christmas cards for the Elizabeth & Tab Williams Adult Day Center, operated by Senior Services. The center provides a safe, fun and structured day program for people living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Each day the center serves 60-80 people, but if we can make enough cards for all 130 people enrolled, that would be great!

The meeting is also an excellent place to network, develop professional skills, learn about service and leadership opportunities, and more. Whether you’re already a Jaycee, or you’re just wanting to learn how you can have a meaningful impact on your community, we hope you can join us.

All Winston Salem Jaycees General Membership Meetings are held the 4th Monday of each month. (Except if the 4th Monday is Christmas.)
