POSTPONED – Jaycee Serve: Habitat for Humanity

Sep 29, 2018 @ 7:45 am - 3:00 pm

**Due to some other projects and a general decline in folks signed up across the board this weekend, they are canceling our build with them this Saturday. We are making this a postponed event since we are in talks with them for other dates that may work. Stay tuned!

The Winston-Salem Jaycees are supporting our local Habitat for Humanity chapter. Volunteer with the Jaycees on Saturday, September. 29, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and help the dream of a new home become a reality for a local family! With a philosophy of “a hand up, not a hand out,” Habitat Forsyth makes it possible for local families to achieve strength and stability that comes from owning safe, decent, affordable housing.

To volunteer: visit the Habitat Forsyth Volunteer Hub:

Register or login (if you’ve already got an account). When asked for a Join Code, use JAYCEES. Complete the information form (including liability waiver) and click Next. Scroll through the list until you reach September 29th and the Jaycees. If the spots we’ve reserved fill up, don’t worry! Send an email to [email protected] and we’ll get you taken care of.

We will get our exact location closer to the date of the event

***Please report to the work site by 7:45 a.m.***

Work begins at approximately 8 a.m. and ends around 2:45 p.m. (Work times may vary due to task and/or weather.)
