Christmas Cheer 2023

This year, the Winston-Salem Jaycees Foundation will conduct the 33rd & final annual Christmas Cheer project to benefit economically-disadvantaged children, selected by The Salvation Army: Center of Hope as the ones with the greatest need.

On Saturday, December 9th, 2023, the Winston-Salem Jaycees Foundation and other volunteers will shop for needed items at the Target on University Parkway in Winston-Salem.

Your support and generous financial contribution to this year’s project will allow a child to experience the magic of the holiday season.

Christmas Cheer

For more than 30 years, the Winston-Salem Jaycees have partnered with a community agency to identify in-need children who could benefit from some Christmas Cheer.  The event will be held on Saturday, 12/11/2021 at the Target store on University Parkway with a TBD time. Once a community agency is chosen and depending on the COVID-19 pandemic, we will arrange more specific details closer to the date.  Specific details such as how necessary and personal items will be purchased (whether from wish lists or with the actual children in person shopping), the number of children we will be able to assist, and the specific spending amount for each child.
