Drinking with the Cops*

Drinking with the Cops is a special event that enables the Jaycees to help out the WSPD and their new officers.We are asked by the WSPD to help with this event and to provide drinkers for the sole purpose of helping their rookies get a genuine feel for what it is like to have to pull someone over for  possibly driving under the influence.  This year, the event will be held on:

Tuesday, July 29  and Wednesday , July 30

Tuesday, August 5 and Wednesday, August 6

The Winston Salem Police Department would like to pick the volunteers up between 5:00 to 5:30 on the above dates for participating in the Field Sobriety Training activities. Participants will be returned to their homes by 9:00pm. We will need four (4) volunteers each night. Please e-mail the following information to [email protected]:

p.s. You are encouraged to not eat at least an hour before pick-up in order to give an accurate reading, and know that some snacks will be available throughout the evening.
