On Sunday, Sept 23rd we will meet at the Tanglewood Stables (at the Tanglewood State Park).
WE WILL HAVE 3 SESSIONS – PLEASE EMAIL PAULA OR SHARON IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.
No matter if it’s your first time on a horse, or if you have ridden all your life, spending time on horseback can be therapeutic. For some, it’s exciting, and for others it’s relaxing. Either way, it’s a great activity for anyone looking to step out of the everyday routine and into the saddle.
The knowledgeable staff will match each rider with a suitable mount, and be sure that everyone is comfortable before heading out on the trail. While riding helmets are not required, they are provided, as safety is always a priority.
A mounted guide leads each group of riders (6 years old and over) along wooded paths and scenic river trails, where often birds, deer, and other park wildlife are in view. Rides are between 45 and 55 minutes and the cost is $25 per person (NOTE – the park only accepts checks and cash – no debit/credit cards).
Tanglewood Stables are located in Tanglewood Park, Clemmons, North Carolina, conveniently off of I-40 Exits 180 and 182 just west of Winston-Salem and east of Mocksville.
