WS Tour Series: Reynolda House

**This is a family friendly event! So feel free to bring your children, and invite your friends that have children as well.**

Winston-Salem has a wealth of history and culture of which many of us may not be aware. There are dozens of museums and historical sites that natives and new residents alike may not have taken the time to explore.

On Saturday, February 22nd we will be visiting the Reynolda House Museum. The estate opened in 1917 as the primary residence of Richard Joshua Reynolds, his wife Katharine and their four children. The house fell out of use and was opened as an art museum in 1967, showcasing artworks from 1775 to the present. The house has also been restored to reflect various periods of its history.

We will be touring the house and afterwards we will have time to tour the gardens and visit the shops in the Reynolda Village.

Admission is $14 per adult or $12 for 8 or more. Free admission for children. We will meet at 10am at the Reynolda House and tour the museum. Afterward, we will walk through the gardens and shop in the village if there is any interest. This is a wonderful family friendly project and a great opportunity for children or adults to learn about the history of the Winston-Salem area.
